As a wife understands how God made her husband, she will discover from Scripture how to wisely influence him to submit to God. A woman must put her affection and hope in God instead of in human schemes exhibits a gentle and quiet spirit for her husband regardless of his Christlike spirit. A wife will win her husband over by her spirit, which then causes him to be free to submit to God and grow spiritually and perhaps become one in the marriage.
Husbands are called to love their wives as wives are called to respect and honor their husbands. However, what does it mean to truly honor and respect husbands if he is being unloving? As we are required to submit, are we required to demonstrate love, gentleness, long-suffering when they are being unloving? For some women this is very hard, what do you think about this and how would you as a wife handle this situation?
